What’s new on Howaryu, from the latest to the oldest.
15 October 2026 · The podium of the month
Each month, the three pieces of good news with the most hearts make it onto the podium. Open it with the trophy at the top of every page. The current month’s podium changes as hearts come in. It becomes final on the 1st of the following month and past podiums stay on view. A post and its translation share their hearts, so they count as a single place. The first podium is October’s.
9 October 2026 · Howaryu installs like an app
On your phone or computer, you can now install Howaryu like an app: it opens full screen, with its own icon. On Android and on a computer, use the “Install Howaryu” button at the bottom of the page. On iPhone and iPad, tap Share, then “Add to Home Screen”. The site also opens faster and a page appears to reload the app when you are offline.
9 October 2026 · A laughing sun
Howaryu has a new icon: a sun bursting out laughing, an answer to the question “how are you?”. It combines two icons you already choose for your posts, Sun and Laughter.
8 October 2026 · The wall speaks two languages
Every piece of good news is now translated automatically: into French if you write it in English, into English if you write it in French. The translation appears on the other wall with the mention “Translated from French” or “Translated from English” and a link to the original. Hearts are shared by both versions and your nickname is never sent to the translator.
8 October 2026 · A handwriting for Halloween and new icons
The “Mystery” handwriting arrives for Halloween. The choice of icons grows, to about thirty in all: Dog, Cat, Mouse, Cheers, Restaurant, Game, Goal, Good sleep, Planet, Parents, Little ghost, Shopping, Done…
5 October 2026 · An idea of the day to write
No inspiration? Above the form, a question changes every day to help you find your good news: “What made you smile today?”. The “Another idea” button suggests more.
